In June 2019 Hills Salvage & Recycling Ltd, in line with our commitment to the delivery of a high-quality market leading service to our customer/supplier population, took the unprecedented decision to challenge ourselves to attain three international standards, all at the same time. We took this decision to further enhance our commitment to quality and the environment as well as demonstrating continual IT development and security.
This fantastic accomplishment was achieved, following a lot of hard work and commitment from staff and management at Hills, through time spent developing and enhancing our current processes and procedures and staff training. This was followed by a number of external audits and assessments on our Quality Management, Environmental Management and Information Security Management systems, in line with international standards by Alcumus ISOQAR, UKAS accredited certification body.
This further demonstrates Hills Salvage & Recycling promise to provide quality products and services to meet the desires of our customers and continued effective and responsible environmental management across our business. In addition, the challenging ISO 27001 reinforces our responsibility and commitment to information security and support for our GDPR responsibilities through best practice.
